Why add an Authority to Leave (ATL)?

Adding an ATL (Authority to Leave) to your Tyroola order allows the delivery driver to leave the package at your specified location if you’re not available to receive it.


There are many reasons to do this including:

  • With an ATL, you don’t have to be present at home or work to receive your delivery. The delivery driver can leave your package in a safe spot, saving you from having to rearrange your schedule.
  • Avoid Missed Deliveries

  • If you’re not home when the delivery is attempted and haven’t added an ATL, your package might be taken back to a depot. This could mean delays, additional trips, or needing to reschedule the delivery.
  • Faster Access to Your Order

  • With ATL, your package can be left immediately, ensuring you receive your tyres as quickly as possible, without waiting for a second delivery attempt.
  • Flexibility

  • ATL allows you to specify exactly where you want the package left, such as by the front door, behind a side gate, or in another secure location. This provides peace of mind that your delivery is both secure and convenient.
  • Reduced Delivery Costs

  • Some delivery services charge extra for redelivery attempts or holding your package at a depot. By adding an ATL, you can avoid these potential extra costs.
  • Contactless Delivery

  • An ATL supports contactless delivery, which can be important for health reasons or simply for convenience, as you don’t need to interact with the delivery driver.

How to Add an Authority to Leave (ATL)

Here’s how to add an ATL to Your Tyroola Order

  1. During Checkout:

    When placing your order on Tyroola, proceed to the checkout page.
    Look for the delivery options or additional instructions section.
    You should find an option to add delivery instructions or select "Authority to Leave."
    Specify where you would like the driver to leave the tyres if you are not home, such as "Leave at front door" or "Leave behind the side gate."

  2. After Placing Your Order:
    If you’ve already placed your order, contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible.
    Provide your order number and the specific instructions on where you would like the tyres to be left.

Be aware that by selecting an ATL, you accept responsibility for the package once it’s delivered, even if it’s left unattended.


Make sure the location you choose is safe and protected from the elements.

Please be aware, if an ATL is placed on the delivery of a good, we are not responsible for any loss or damage to the items. We will happily assist you in contacting the logistics company used to re-confirm the delivery with the driver, however if goods are not found, no replacement will be sent.
